Offer accepted!
It only took 17 days of having our home on the market for us to receive and accept an offer on our house! If you watch TV or read the newspapers they will tell you that the housing market is currently dead. I'm not so sure I believe this. We have a great real estate agent (Al Legg) who made simple suggestions on how to best showcase our home's best features. He then worked hard to attract attention to our place. I think the combination of having a great agent, great house, and a great listing price will always turn out with a sale even in a so called "depressed" market.
We will miss the old house and hope that the new owners will enjoy it as much as we have. It will be hard giving up our first house and of course the hot tub!
