So what is the real story?

Church opens to troops who refuse deployment. Providing 'sanctuary' after officer rejected order to go to Iraq

or

First United Methodist Church in Tacoma is on a list of the state’s 10 most endangered historic properties


Is the Church simply trying to attract media attention to 'save' the church building? I say yes.
